What I'm Doing Now

Grace is 7.5 months and has two teeth. She is doing better with spoon feeding and now eats carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, peas and peaches. I imagine she will start taking on a yellow-orange hue with all that beta carotene. She really likes to feed herself finger food, too. She is doing so good with her little pincer grasp and loves her Cheerios!

"Sorry, Daddy...I don't share my Cheerios!"

Snack time at the church nursery. Guess who's eating Cheerios!

Who needs to crawl when you can roll everywhere!

I chew on my hands all the time because my gums are so sore from teething.

See, my first two teeth.
Now you know why I was so fussy when those popped through.

I sit up like a big girl and play (and I'm not afraid of the pink ball anymore)!

Easter 2009

We enjoyed a beautiful Easter Sunday this year. After a nice Easter service, we headed to MP to eat a big lunch at my parent's house and spend time with the family.

The next few pictures are taken at Azalea park. Grace was too cute in her rocking chair.

Easter Sunday pictures below:

Roman gives Grace a big fat (wax) kiss!

Grace ended the day with a bubble bath in Nana's sink.

We also celebrated my beautiful Grandmother Frances' 80th birthday this week!

Myrtle Beach

We had a fun mini-vacation to Myrtle Beach last week. Ben had to film a seminar there and so Grace and I came, too. Grace had so much fun in the indoor pool. I am really looking forward to spending more time in the pool this summer!

Our little girl is getting so big!

Grace is posing for this pic. She can sit up like a big girl now!

She has a tooth now and she is so proud of it!

Spring Has Sprung

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend with Grandma Hough. We took some beautiful pictures of us with the azaleas in bloom. I love spring!

Grace at play.

Grace is doing so much better in the high chair. She is eating all sorts of baby foods now. She can't get enough of her bananas and peas!

This is another cute dress that Grandma Hough made for Grace. I thought the jeans added a nice touch!

We are looking forward to our garden this year. Ben planted peas, beans, cukes, lettuce and carrots. Hopefully the bugs aren't looking forward to it, too!

Hampton Happenings

I posted two separate blogs today, so be sure to read both!

We enjoyed spending some quality time with my family this weekend. Grace and I visited Grandma/pa Page to celebrate G'pa's 82nd b-day! It was a relaxing and beautiful weekend.

This is a picture of my Grandparent's backyard at sunset.

Grace and GGma

This was the most comfortable hammock/swing seat. Grace took a nap in my arms while we sat in it for a couple of hours.

A beautiful day to relax and be outdoors

My Aunt Peggy and Uncle Denny

We finished up the weekend in Mt Pleasant where we grilled burgers and watched some Clemson basketball.

Happy 1/2 Birthday!

I can't believe she's already six moths old! It has gone by so fast and it just keeps getting faster. She finally rolled over and today I noticed that she is cutting a tooth on the bottom gums. She is just about ready to sit up on her own soon. She is enjoying avocado and sweet peas right now, especially sweet peas.
