April 2014

April has been a busy month for us. Busy and fun.

It is finally warm enough to swim in the pool!

Took the girls and Grandpa Hough to see some professional tennis at the Family Circle Cup. It was fun for the first two hours and then after that, the girls were done with tennis! So, we basically ate our way through the place to keep them happy while Grandpa watched some really good tennis.

Nice hat Grandpa!

That would be Serena Williams playing on the court. Trying to keep those girls quiet during the play was a challenge!

Spring Break trip to see the mermaids at the Aquarium. The girls loved it!

And fun dress-up at the Aquarium in mermaid costumes.

Dyeing Easter eggs. Grace LOVES eggs. Her favorite is egg salad sandwich and fried egg or hard boiled with salt, it doesn't matter. The. girl. loves. eggs.

The Page clan. 6 grandkids, wow!

It wouldn't be spring without a trip to the strawberry patch.

March 2014

A few March happenings:
Tea party with raspberry zinger tea

Grace's dentist appointment...no cavities!

Abigail's first dentist appointment...no cavities either!

Vegetable art...painting with celery tops and stalks

Field trip to the butterfly house

Grace's K4 class. They are such a sweet little family. She is going to miss them when she goes to K5.

Notice who is zipped up in the bag. I could say poor cat, but I won't.

Grace attended her first orchestra concert. She loves it! When I asked her what instrument she wanted to play she said "I want to conduct"!!

January/February 2014

We had several cold spells this winter. Especially Ice Storm Pax. We were without power for 14 hours and we were one of the lucky ones. Thankfully we have gas logs and gas water heater, otherwise we would have been in worse shape. The girls kept trying to think of things to do and I kept reminding them that all those things require electricity. It was definitely an experience.

An ice storm, that's all...no snow.

Pancake snowmen

The ice storm to-do-list: monopoly, tent, fire, hot cocoa, snow...well, 4 out of 5 isn't so bad.

I lead the children's choir at church. We love singing praises to the Lord!

Super Bowl Party with the Page-Hough family. A fun time had by all!

Someone likes to be the center of attention. Puddles sits in the middle of our homemade valentines.
