9 Months Already

Hard to believe that Abigail will be 9 months old tomorrow! She is growing up so fast. Her first word is officially "da-da" (for daddy) and she can also say "ni-ni" (night-night) and clap and wave bye-bye. Anytime she hears music she starts to sing and likes to hold out the "o" on e-i-e-i-o. It's been a rough past few days for her with three of her top teeth coming in all at once. Poor baby! Grace had her first dentist appointment last Friday and her teeth look great - no cavities! Yeah! Grace enjoys going to the library story time each week. Now that she is three, she attends the class alone. sniff, sniff
Abigail can get around, but hasn't figured out how to go forward yet!

Thankful

Here are some updated photos of the girls. Abigail is now 7 months and sitting up on her own, she cut her 1st tooth on Nana's birthday (Nov 30th) and loves her big sister Grace. She's pretty attached to her momma, too. Grace is a sweetheart and so much fun to be with. She makes me laugh all day long with her thoughts and questions. Never a dull moment living with a 3-year old.

Visiting the beautiful Mepkin Abbey Creche Festival

Grace's favorite part of visiting the Abbey was riding in the golf cart and playing with a stray kitten.

Trick-or-Treat

We have been enjoying all the fun fall festivities this past weekend. Here are some pics of our fun!

Can you guess what we dressed up as? (the answer is at the bottom of this post)

My cute 'lil lady bug Abigail. She just had her 6 mos. checkup and is 20lbs!! No wonder my back hurts.

Grace enjoying the fall festival with Buzz & Woody (aka cousins Jude & Roman) at Nana's church.

Grace even got to ride on a pony!

Grace was a beautiful princess/fairy/ballerina for trick-or-treating! She loved to show our neighbors her ballerina moves. They were so impressed. She also enjoyed getting to put on mommy's makeup!

¡Feliz CumpleaƱos! Grace

It's hard to believe my first baby turned three this month. We had a fun Dora the Explorer birthday party with family and friends! I am so blessed to share a birthday with Grace and it is the best birthday gift I could have ever had! Here are some pics of our fun day.

We had a fun game of Dora bingo as well as pin the backpack on Dora and a map to find the cake

Nana & Grandma Hough (Grace loves when both of her Grandmothers are with her)

Abigail's Baptism

Abigail was baptized today and it was a beautiful service! Our choir director let me pick out the music for the service and we played an organ/piano duet  arrangement of "Amazing Grace" during the offertory, there was french horn and trumpet accompanying the organ and our family & friends were present. I felt so loved by our church family. Everything was beautiful and happy (Abigail, too!)...I think I got a glimpse of what heaven will be like!

So glad to have a new family pic

Grace loves to crawl in the crib with Abigail. She's pulling her hair in this photo.

Grace loves to push Abigail in this stroller - her real-life baby doll.

I made this baptism cake, flowers and all. It was a lot of fun to make! Too bad Abigail couldn't have any.
